HomeGear Guide is an editorial publication, not a collection of affiliate landing pages. Our content is designed to help homeowners understand products, compare options, and make informed decisions — even if they never click an affiliate link.

Editorial Independence

HomeGear Guide maintains editorial independence in all content decisions. Our recommendations are based on research and analysis, not on affiliate partnerships or commercial relationships. Affiliate relationships do not determine which products we recommend or how products are evaluated.

Accuracy

Writers and editors should avoid unsupported claims. Facts such as product specifications, compatibility, warranty terms, safety requirements, and certifications should be checked against reliable sources where practical. If a claim cannot be verified, it should be removed or qualified with appropriate language.

Sources

We prioritize the following source types:

Corrections and Feedback

If readers identify a factual error, they can contact us. We review all correction requests and update content as needed. If a meaningful correction is made, we update the article appropriately. We do not automatically change the article update date for minor formatting edits, link styling, or small punctuation changes.

Content Updates

Articles may be updated when:
